March 1, 2018

My third year of the Slice of Life Story Challenge.

Has it really been 9 months since my last post?  Why didn’t I continue to write regularly after the March challenge? It wasn’t for lack of material to write about.  My three adorably crazy children keep my list of story ideas full.  It wasn’t for lack of desire.  Almost daily I think to myself, “You should write this down so you don’t forget it.” But somehow the busyness of life as a mom of three and literacy coach in an elementary school of nearly 700 students squeezed out my best intentions of continuing to write regularly.

But now it is March.  And in March I WRITE EVERY DAY! Stand aside, To-Do List.  Hold your horses, chores.  In March my house might be a little bit messier and my lesson plans might not be quite as detailed, but my head is a little more focused and my heart a little more content because I write. Every. Day.
